Release notes

Licence protection.
* Licences are now signed by NearBuyStore. ARIN trusts only the signed record, so changing the licence, plan or dates in the database switches ARIN off instead of unlocking anything. A licence must be re-checked at least every 3 days.
* Once a day ARIN compares its own files with NearBuyStore's signed list for this version. If files were changed, AI replies and product videos pause and NearBuyStore is told which files (names only). Reinstalling the official ZIP clears it automatically. The store, its chat and its data are never affected.
* Older licence records keep working until 1 December 2026; any check after updating renews them automatically.

What changed

* On nearbuystore.in, when NearBuyStore Suite runs the licence server, ARIN no longer adds a second "ARIN Licenses" menu, second Releases and AI Brain pages, duplicate licence fields on products, or duplicate licence/update/AI web addresses. The Suite handles them; ARIN keeps serving product video search there.

What changed

Lite, Growth and Pro plans.
* New: each licence has a plan. NearBuyStore sets it when the licence is sold (a plan setting on each licence product) or by hand on the licence server; renewing on a different plan switches the shop to it.
* New: on Lite, ARIN finds products and sends customers to the product, cart and checkout pages instead of using the in-chat cart. Compare and recommend fall back to showing the products.
* New: on Growth, review videos and online price comparison are off; product, brand and general training and datasets show an upgrade note in admin (nothing you set up is deleted).
* New: the licence server sets monthly AI replies per plan (Lite 0, Growth 1,000, Pro 5,000; a per-licence limit still overrides). Licences without a plan keep the old "Paid" allowance.
* Home shows the shop's plan. Trials and every existing licence are Pro, so updating changes nothing for current shops.

What changed

One consistent, readable admin — light or dark — and better phones for shop owners and customers.
* Fixed: Teach ARIN, Brand training, General training, Learning Lab, Dataset intelligence, Site sync, Testing studio and Answer quality still showed the old dark "HUD" style, with some headings white-on-white. They now use the same clean design as Home and Settings.
* Fixed: Correction review and Product intelligence had near-invisible text; both are readable now.
* Settings: each tab no longer repeats its own name as a heading inside it.
* Dark admin theme: with WP Adminify's dark mode, every ARIN page switches to matching dark colours.
* Phones (admin): pages fit the screen with no sideways scrolling, settings tabs scroll sideways, fields stack, buttons are easier to tap, and tables scroll inside their card.
* Phones (customers): the chat now fits the visible screen, so the keyboard never covers the message box on iPhones.

What changed

* Fixed (live test): asking for videos of a model ("YouTube review of MJX Hyper Go 14303") now opens that exact product, not a similar one already on screen.
* Fixed (live test): "Cheapest first" / "Under ₹10,000" right after "What's new" re-sorts those products instead of searching for the word "first".
* Fixed (live test): on a product page, "Explain this product" keeps its own answer and buttons (a safety filter wrongly replaced it with "not sure what you mean", which read-aloud would speak).
* Improved: budgets read "under ₹20,000" instead of "₹20,000.00"; gift and recommendation buttons show main categories, not accessories.
* Improved: "+ Add to Compare", "✓ Selected", "View full product page", "Workspace", "Products" and "Cart" follow the customer's language; a button that changes its own label is no longer switched back.

    Choose the current WordPress release from the platform selector and download the ZIP.

  2. Install and activate

    In WordPress, open Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, activate ARIN, then open ARIN CommerceBot → Get Started.

  3. Start the trial, then pick a plan

    Start the free 14-day trial of Pro. When you buy Lite, Growth or Pro, paste your key in Get Started — ARIN switches to your plan.

Which plan should I choose?

Lite (₹3,999) answers questions and finds products; customers buy on your product pages. Growth (₹9,999) adds comparisons, recommendations, and cart and checkout inside the chat — the plan most stores pick. Pro (₹14,999) adds training on your products and brands, datasets, review videos and online price comparison.

Is the price per month or per year?

Each price is for one website for one year, including updates for that period. Renew to keep ARIN running after that.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Download the WordPress installer, then select Start trial in ARIN CommerceBot → Get Started. The trial includes every Pro feature and needs no payment details. One trial per website.

What happens when I buy a plan after the trial?

Paste your licence key in Get Started. ARIN switches to your plan automatically. Your settings, training and conversations stay — features outside your plan are switched off, not deleted.

Can I upgrade or change my plan later?

Yes. Buy the new plan for the same website with the same email. Your key stays the same, moves to the new plan, and its validity is extended by the new plan’s period.

What do customers see on Lite?

ARIN finds products, answers questions and tracks orders. When a customer wants to buy or compare, ARIN opens the product, cart or checkout page instead. Customers never see plan or upgrade messages.

What are AI replies?

Most messages are answered by ARIN’s built-in rules for free. When the rules can’t tell what a customer means, ARIN can ask the NearBuyStore AI service: Growth includes 1,000 such replies a month and Pro 5,000. When they run out, ARIN keeps working with its rules.

Do I need WordPress and WooCommerce?

Yes. ARIN is a plugin for WordPress stores using WooCommerce. Test it with your theme and store setup during the trial.

Where can I download current and old versions?

Open the WordPress section above, then use the Older versions accordion for historical releases.

Where are my download, manual and keys?

Sign in to NearBuyStore with your purchase email, then open My Account → Software Library. Keys are also shown on your order and in the order email.

Does every payment method work inside chat?

On Growth and Pro, payment options depend on your store and compatible gateways. ARIN keeps a secure WooCommerce checkout fallback for the purchase flow.

How do plugin updates work?

NearBuyStore publishes releases centrally. Stores with an active trial or licence see the normal WordPress Update now option. Publishing a release does not force installation.
